Hello, friends, family, and everyone else.
This is our first blog on this site (obviously). I just thought that it would be nice to start a blog on a site without all the junky advertisments and such. I hope that we will be able to give people a better insight into our everchanging lives.
Well the summer is upon us and I have recieved my first sunburn. It is kind of a bad/good thing. it hurts, but it reminds me that it is not -30 outside and that I was finally out on the golf course. Our lives seem to be busy all the time. Just to give you all a bit of an update, recently I was asked to lead worship for all our prayer meetings that we have a church on sunday nights. I was thrilled with the opportunity and accepted. Of course this means that we go to church in the morning and usually do not get home until 10 at night on sundays, as we spend the day in Stony Plain rather than drive back and forth the 30 mins that it takes for us to get from our home in Edmonton to Stony Plain. It has been a real enjoyable time, giving us a chance to be more involved with the church than just filling a pew Sunday mornings.
Bev has been the faithful breadwinner our whole time out here, and again she is pulling a few extra shifts here and there while I am taking my Spainsh course this spring. So to say the least we find a way to wear ourselves out. My spanish class is only three weeks long and I started last monday. By friday I wrote my midterm exam and am glad to report that I did well, 87..5%. I know that it is a result of people praying for me, I was quite worried that it would be too intense, but so far so good. For those of you that dont know it is a four month course taught in three weeks. Not my idea of fun!!
God Bless!!

WOW!! Sounds like life is busy for you both. Congrats on the Spanish mark. If you ever make it to our area, you will have lots of opportunities to practice. Stony Plain and the surrounding area is where my family live. Hope to meet you both soon.
