One Weekend Down, One More To Go

Hello, hello

I thought I would just throw in a quick update as to how our weekend at the youth campout went. We drove down to Pigeon Lake friday after work and arrived there at about 7:30. Driving in to the lake really reminded Bev and I about our trip to Alaska last fall and brought back a few great memories.

We had about 30-35 youth come out to the campout, and I think that they all really enjoyed themselves. It was really good to just spend the weekend with the youth as there were many that Bev and I didn't really know previously. During the weekend I ended up being thrusted into leading worship for the four "chapel" times we had. Jon Klein was the speaker, it was great to see him again. Bev actually spent some time with him several years ago at Riverside Bible Camp. He did a great job and I think really challenged many of the youth to a deeper walk with Christ.

We drove home Sunday around noon and then after having spent a few hours to refresh at home we headed back out on the road, this time to Spruce Grove for my cousin Jon's 30th birthday party. All in all we had a great weekend.

Thank you so much for those of you that took the time to pray for us this past weekend. We all were kept safe and had a great weekend!

Only 5 more days until we leave for Belize!!!
