Summer Wrapup

Hello everyone. I cant believe that it has been two months since the last time that we have blogged in here. Sorry for those of you who for some reason are actually interested in our lives and have been starving for some updates.

We have had a busy summer. We kicked it all off with an amazing trip to Belize. Honestly it feels surreal that we were out there. We had an amazing time with my friends that I had made while I was teaching out there 5 years ago. It was Bev's first time in the country and she too enjoyed herself tremendously. Upon our return back to Canada we found ourselves extremely busy with work and church life. we had the opportunity to be help the youth from our church with a car wash followed by a trip down to Sylvan Lake. We went camping down in Calgary for a weekend and were able to make it up to Grande Prairie for the gospel jamboree during august long weekend. We just recently returned from La Crete where we were able to partake in Bev's grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. It was a good weekend seeing family and friends. We have had a very enjoyable summer and are constantly amazed how time flies. We have lived in Edmonton now for 13 months and it seems like yesturday that we moved here.

This fall promises to be a busy one as well. I have just returned back to university and am excited and a bit nervous about the opportunity to do my IPT (first practicum)after Christmas. I only have school three days a week and will be working the wednesdays and fridays that I am not in school. Bev is continuing working at Southgate Vision Care which has been challenging for her lately as she has been having to deal with the responsibliblies of training employees, etc... We have planned on moving out to Stony Plain but our move in date keeps getting pushed back, so we are hoping to move sometime before Christmas. Bev and I have also committed to helping out with the youth group in our church as youth sponsors, something we are excited about and looking forward to. I have also been asked to lead or head up a praise and worship night at our church once a month, so to say the least we are going to be busy. Pray for us as we continue to go about our daily lives and hopefully influence those around us for Christ.
